What’s involved?
National Youth Week is a nation-wide celebration of young people in Australia. It takes place every year.
NYW aims to encourage young people to:
* share ideas
* attend live events
*have their voices heard on issues of concern to them
* showcase their talents
* celebrate their contribution to the community
* take part in competitions, and
* have fun!
There will be concerts, dance parties, talent contests and competitions all across Australia with lots of free stuff to win. Get involved with the organisers, host your own event with them, or just show up!
Check out www.youthweek.com for events in your area.
Why should people do this?
