The Inspire Foundation
(who runs ActNow) has a mission to help young people lead happier lives. In light of this we have an obligation to continually ask ourselves if we could be doing things differently to deliver the best possible services to young people. Sometimes this means making minor adjustments that are barely noticeable, and sometimes it means making significant changes that are seen and felt by many. At all times, decisions are made in consultation with young people, in the best interests of young people, and with our mission always front-of-mind.
Our news today involves a significant shift in focus, from delivering two services to young people - ReachOut.com
and ActNow.com.au - to channelling all of our resources into one key service under the banner of ReachOut.com.
This does not mark the end of ActNow.com.au. We are exploring the possibility of ActNow.com.au continuing to operate as part of another youth-focused non-profit organisation that we know will take good care of it, and help it grow.
Until this time ActNow.com.au will still exist online; it simply won’t be updated with new content. So you can still visit the site, you just can’t add or update anything on it.
We know that getting involved in the community and taking action on issues you care about help improve mental health and wellbeing, so we'll be incorporating this thinking – and all our learnings from ActNow.com.au - into the information, tools and opportunities offered to young people on ReachOut.com.
