Motor ace, lo-tel and feeder. We're stoked that only one of them still exists for our sake.
ActNow is all about taking action on issues that people are passionate about – so what does "action" mean to you?
It means more than making a noise and yelling about it, it means getting deep down into the issues and the people involved and fixing it from the bottom up.
What issues are you passionate about?
People getting richer while other people are getting poorer. In terms of our songs, we want to challenge the youth culture of people looking for happiness in drugs and alcohol.
What are some hot issues in your local area?
Our area, the Sutherland Shire has one of the highest youth suicide rates in Australia.
Do issues in the world around you effect how you write your material?
Yes, we write songs for people to hear.
How important do you think music is to create awareness around issues that the world faces today?
It's a very powerful tool. When people want to listen to your music, it's an amazing opportunity to challenge the listeners an offer hope.
If you weren’t a musician what would you be doing?
Delivering flowers
Where do you see your band in five years time?
Hopefully with some albums under our belt... they're just waiting to pop out! Being able to touch hundreds of thousands of people would be amazing.
If you could change one thing about the world in which you live, what would it be?
Distribute all the money in the world evenly.
