Christians of today cannot ignore God's heartbeat for this World. We are not called to be the ones who are standing against everything, but instead standing for something.
God's heartbeat is justice. Is fairness. Is to send out people to help the need. Our duty is to feed the hungry, tend to the sick and shelter the homeless. To truly serve God is to follow the footsteps of Jesus... a man who did not apologise for being unorthodox. He spoke to the dejected and rejected. He spent time with the orphans and the widows. Jesus saw us all as equals, all as humans, all with needs. All needing to be rescued.
Epic youth is a movement of youth from Citylife Church in Knox, Melbourne. We are not here to be entertained, and we're not just here for a good time. We are here to make a difference and make a mark. We want to see a change in this World. We want to re-establish the youth culture of today. We want to abolish the stereotypes of youth being lazy and uncaring. We care. And we're ready to act now.
