What inspires me is a persons passion for living. Living life each day and seeing beauty in every action, seeing the gift in every moment good or bad.
My passion has led me to work in a field of research and so my research is all about the passion for living longer.. more commonly referred to as ageing. Ageing and mental health.
I want to change policies, I want my research to influence policy development and to effect change on the mental health of thousands of ageing people around the world.

A dear friend of mine was diagnosed with inoperable cancer yesterday. After having had 3 cancers of my own I feel like I've just dodged a bullet.
It does however fuel my spirit to live deep and suck each breath out of life. Focus on living.... each moment ...each day
